As an interim Trade Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving demand and visibility for Mareblu products across various retail channels.
This position is instrumental in executing trade marketing strategies, optimizing in-store promotions, and ensuring strong market presence.
You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and external partners to develop promotional activities, analyze market trends, and enhance brand positioning at the Point of Sale (POS).
The role will be based in our Mareblu office in Milan and report to the Trade Marketing Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities: Trade Marketing Execution: Support and implement trade-led activities, ensuring alignment with commercial and brand strategies. Promotional Strategy: Monitor promotional activities per customer in the GDO channel, optimizing the pack price strategy for maximum impact. Market & Competitor Analysis: Utilize IRI & Nielsen data (including StoreAudit, Foldernet) to track trends, performance, and competitive landscape. POS Material Development: Work with creative agencies to develop and execute in-store marketing materials (displays, profile strips, floor stands, pallets). Sales Collaboration: Provide commercial support for promo evaluation, assortment recommendations, listing plans, and sales strategies. Promo Tracking & Optimization: Manage the Promo Tool, tracking past, ongoing, and future promotions to enhance planning and effectiveness. Customer Planning: Support the development of Customer Plans, translating marketing strategies into tangible customer activations. SKU & Portfolio Optimization: Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Supply, Finance) to optimize the product portfolio and manage new product development initiatives. Demand & Business Planning: Participate in monthly demand reviews and business product reviews, ensuring seamless coordination across teams. About You: Experienced in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales Support, or related fields within FMCG/Retail. Data Analysis Skills - Proficiency in market intelligence tools (IRI, Nielsen) and strong ability to interpret sales and promotional data. Retail & Shopper Knowledge: Understanding of trade marketing strategies, in-store execution, and customer engagement. Project Management: Ability to develop POS materials, track promotions, and coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders. Communication & Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. Tech & Systems: Familiarity with Promo Tools, Trade Marketing Dashboards, SAP, and CRM/ERP systems is a plus. What we can offer you: A competitive salary and benefits package.
