**About the Role
The trade shows and events specialist will be part of the corporate Market development team and will work alongside the Trade Shows & Events Manager.
Main responsibilities include - not limited to
- To plan and coordinate all aspects of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, and promotional activities.
- To monitor event budget and coordinate third parties to ensure execution within budget cap and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
- To coordinate event logistics, including - where applicable - venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, and transportation within the event venue (logistics of equipment and/or products for exhibition are out of scope).
- To work closely with internal teams to develop promotional materials and communication strategies to create pre-event buzz and drive attendance.
- To collaborate with external partners and sponsors to maximize event success.
- To oversee on-site logistics and execution, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for attendees.
- To troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events and provide quick and effective solutions.
- To evaluate the success of events through metrics such as attendance, lead generation, and participant feedback.
- To prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements
**What You Need to Be Successful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with marketing tools and technologies.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English native language or demonstrated fluency).
- A good command of the German language.
