You will serve as a TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Supply Management Department of the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center, Transportation Division, Sigonella Sicily, Italy.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Having an expert knowledge in a wide range of DOD and Navy traffic management policies, principles. Demonstrating experience in current initiatives and programs of the Defense Transportation System (DTS), U. S. transportation regulatory agencies, and the functions, capabilities, and utilization of the U. S. Transportation Command and its constituent components, the Air Mobility Command (AMC), the Military Sealift Command (MSC), and the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC). Possessing knowledge of the commercial transport practices and capabilities, as well as the capabilities of military airlift, sealift, and inland surface lift assets. Demonstrating extensive planning experience in transportation functions at the unit field level required to provide economic analysis, operational oversight, and staff reporting functions necessary to ensure the success of this function.
