Transformation Communication Specialist
Who you are
- Ability to lead and work in the "unknown" and deal with a high amount
of ambiguity during certain phases of transformation.
- Be up to date with media trends and what is happening in the world of
communication and turn it into practice.
- Ability to communicate complex issues and concepts in a simple, clear,
engaging and inspirational way with IKEA tone of voice.
- Good knowledge in Digital Communication and to lead change with communication.
- Proactive attitude in problem solving and hands-on approach when necessary.
- Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines.
- Ability to deliver consistent messages and to perform work with care, accuracy
and attention to detail.
- Strong ability to set the goals, follow through, deliver and follow up.
- Extensive knowledge on project-, process
- and stakeholder management,
in a continuously changing environment, to keep our co-workers well informed,
engaged and empowered.
- Passionate about the power of communication and leading through communication.
- Passionate about people, organizational change and transformational processes.
- Previous experience within communication and media field.
- Strong Knowledge of English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.
What you'll be doing day to day
- Be a communication expert, both internally and externally, within the assigned business segment
and support for communication needs and advice on effective choices within specific function group.
- Collaborate strongly with Project Transformation Team/Transformation PM.
- Explore, develop and lead communication initiatives.
- Collaborating with the market Transformation Hub, contribute to the growth and transformation
of IKEA by ensuring we lead with communication during our Business Transformation.
- Responsible for the development, adaption and implementation for the communication
transformation agenda, which will be delivered by the global Transformation Communications team.
- Maintain close collaboration with global Transformation Communication team following the
common communication process and aligning the ways of working in an interdependent way.
- Responsible for developing and executing the common communication approach; planning
relevant communication solutions as part of the transformation agenda, with a focus on projects
related to transformation topics.
- Enable change both in the known and in the unknown, supporting the change processes with
tailored communication initiatives.
- Provide hands on support in the design, execution and follow-up of transformation
communications, including event planning, publishing of information and maintaining a common
mailbox for the market.
- Be a strategic advisor and coach to the different leaders in the transformation phases while
understanding the complexity of change and the receiver perspective.
- Proactively contribute to stakeholder analysis and stakeholder engagement.
