DescriptionThe Transport Team is responsible for developing and planning the transport strategy and system for a hospitality programme at events.

This includes sourcing and contracting transport suppliers, researching and drafting all transport routes, preparing transport contingency plans, and driver training. We will have roles starting from October 2025.

These will be contract roles until March 2026. Key Responsibilities:Assist in pre-event planning and preparation of all transport systems. Develop a comprehensive geographical knowledge of the area and the various routes. Assist in establishing an efficient and effective coach transport system, including emergency plans. Produce event time manuals, including transport operations manual, route maps, and incident & accident logs for drivers and transport teams. Assist in the management of all on-site transport operations. Alongside senior management, assist in the development of the transport schedule. Build effective and professional working relationships with all suppliers. Devise coach loading and dispatch systems and manage them during event time. Understand all security procedures and collaborate with the client Security Team to implement all necessary safeguards in transport planning. Ensure drivers and/or hosts are fully conversant with safety aspects of vehicles. Prepare roster plans for drivers and the transport team, ensuring drivers have adequate breaks between shifts. Understand event procedures and protocols. This is not an exhaustive list, and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary. Skills, Knowledge, Expertise:Fluent in Italian and English. Previous experience in transport with a demonstrable understanding of transport logistics. Team and driver management experience. Excellent IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint - confident using different platforms and devices. Project management experience. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Attributes:High energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environment. Willing to roll up sleeves and get involved. Passionate about sport, hospitality, and delivery. Able to work in a calm, kind, and professional manner in a pressured environment. Ability to prioritize a demanding workload.
