We are looking for a Transport Coordinator. The position, based in Piacenza, is open to people of all genders (Law 903/77).

How you can help us: Reporting to our Transport Manager, you will be responsible for:

Cooperation and communication with freight forwarders, customer service and warehouse admin teamApply appropriate processesEnsure and foster efficient communication with customer service and warehouse teamMake appointments for loading and delivery slots and update all necessary filesCoordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, taking into account internal operational processesPreparation of all appropriate documentsMonitoring and ensuring on time deliveryPlanning deliveries from the company's own trucksInvoice check on the requestShipment tracking for customer serviceCreation of pick-up ordersComplaint managementTMS Country users / 1st level analysis (incl. carrier implementation process)Creation and analysis of internal statistics on key figures relevant to departmentsPerform in collaboration with Transportation Manager to enhance shipping structureAdvise Transportation Manager and Supervisor of all transportation related issuesContinuous ImprovementContribute ideas from local market / specific DC situationSupport rollout of Europe wide projects/processesDrive improvementsAre you our match? Required:

Commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding clerk, as well as 3-5 years of professional experience in the area of distribution and exportCountry transportation market and export regulations knowledgeKnowledge of haulage schedulingBasic understanding of statistical analysisFluent in Italian and very good knowledge of spoken and written EnglishOrganisational skills and the ability to react quickly to changing circumstancesIndependent and results-oriented way of workingAbility to drive improvementTeam playerOur offer: An interesting full-time position within a continuously growing, market-leading healthcare company awaits you.
