We are working with a very prestigious client of the food and beverage industry to find a resource focused on transport management and logistic in a fast-moving consumer goods facility.

The position we are looking to recruit is:

**TRANSPORT MANAGER

The Transport Manager is a key role to manage the local supply chain.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, the Transport Manager will coordinate a team of 6.

The role will be in charge of both inbound and outbound operations.

Their responsabilities include:

- Being the first point of contact to ensure all Customs documentations for the receiving goods are correct

- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to plan capacity requirements, including being in charge of the transportation budget

- Ownership of Quality, Environment, Safety and Security compliance following the legislation and according to the group standards

- Managing all aspects of transportation, including claims and leading projects

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or Supply Chain Management

- Experience in transport management and planning (3+ years)

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Fluency in English and French (any other language would be a plus)

- Experience with SAP ECC would be a plus

The resource is a person with excellent customer service skills, who is highly results driven, flexible and demonstrates a strategic approach.

Place of work: Belgium (South-East)
