We are looking for a Transport Planning Specialist who will successfully organize inbound and/or outbound shipments to deliver products and materials to external and internal Clients.

You will support Business Function and/or Business Excellence Centers to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and costs parameters.

Trade & Transportation Manager Your responsibilities

Execute shipments for all transport modes, when necessary re-routes freight as needed to meet demands minimizing costs.

Communicate fulfilment status to all the stakeholders.

Utilize a Transport Management System to perform material movement, planning and scheduling.

Monitor delivery of goods to external/internal customers.

Work closely with transport service providers and brokers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes.

Assist in obtaining necessary transport permits / import and export documentation.

Work closely with transport partners on resolving issues and providing direction.

Your background

High school degree with a background in logistic and transport.

A previous experience as a transport planning specialist is a plus.

Excellent knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of SAP and TMS (transport management System) will be considered a plus.

Customer oriented, excellent relationship skills, flexibility and dynamism will complete your profile.
