Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – ER Requirements: NY License 2 Years Experience BLS ACLS NIH Travel experience preferred Responsibilities: Emergency room travel nurses are on the hospital front-lines, requiring candidates who can handle a stressful and busy environment.

They are responsible for examining patients upon arrival and carrying out triage tasks to assess their condition.

Key responsibilities include:

Identifying injuries, signs, and symptoms, and communicating assessments to physicians.

Assisting in patient treatment and explaining prescription information to patients and families.

Understanding facility and government policies related to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge.

Educating patients and their families about continued treatment at home before discharge.
