Key responsibilities include:Identifying injuries, signs, and symptoms, and communicating assessments to physicians. Assisting in patient treatment and explaining prescription information to patients and families. Understanding facility and government policies related to patient treatment, transfer, and discharge. Educating patients and their families about continued treatment at home before discharge.
