Description**:

Maketourism is seeking an Travel Specialist for the Operations Department.

This person will work within the Operations department to complete independent projects and/or manage tour logistics, production, event management, suppliers' research and contracting, as well as service confirmations.

**Job Duties**:

- FIT and Group bookings

- Confirm groups services as requested

- Conduct independent research on Venues, suppliers, etc.

as directed.

- Update database for venue contacts and fee engagements

- New suppliers search and contracting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Excellent organization, communication and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).

- Familiarity with the world of tourism/event organization.

**Other preferred skills**:

- Ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external parts and suppliers

- English knowledge is mandatory.

Other languages preferred.

- Process driven with ability to meet deadlines
