Trial Form Support: Business And Contracts Manager
DescriptionJob PurposeFacilitate and provide complete business support for the TFS vendor management team from vendor identification to contract and budget negotiation, reconciliation and closing of contracts. RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
Support the business units and lines in delivering the projects, meeting annual goals and objectivesCoordinate and conduct TFS response to potential and existing vendor collaborations and work with the internal TFS teams to support any enquiry, for example a Request for Information (RFI) or a Request for Proposal (RFP)When requested be prepared and available to attend and support any client meetings, for example Client audits, Capabilities meetings or Bid Defense Meetings (BDM)Collect, prepare and present specific background information/data and summariesCoordinate and finalize any vendor budget or contract negotiations, post award of any work to TFS within a specified territory or accountsEstablish and maintain regular contact and an excellent rapport with future and current vendorsPrepare presentations and attend and support bid defense, general client and vendor capabilities/demonstration meetings via teleconference or face to face if neededAttend hand-over meetings to operational management upon project awardCollect critical vendor information for proposal preparationUnderstand the RFI/RFP process and provide detailed input and support the proposal process for each opportunity initiated by proposing the best suitable vendorsManage costs e. G.
expenses appropriately and submit claims in a timely mannerPositively interact with TFS operations personnel, keeping track of study status for projects with vendors and help coordinate and complete negotiation and execution of change orders when notified of a change of scope by operationsAssist and support the operational management in meetings (e. G.
vendor contracts and change order discussions)Support activities aiming to develop and retainmaintain business relations with preferred vendors Collect, compile, analyze and present data related to vendorsRecord all relevant business activities and vendor contacts in the Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce. Com)Support the Director of Business and Contracts (Vendor Management) with workload assignment and supervision where requiredSupport the Director of Business and Contracts (Vendor Management) with recruitment and training of new Business & Contracts Managers/AssociatesSupport the Director of Business and Contracts (Vendor Management) with overseeing quality of output from the team and ensuring a consistently high standard of deliveryAssist and support all business and contracts activities for key client accountsAssist and support the development of new tools and processesAssist and support general marketing activities and eventsInitiate, coordinate and negotiate signing of vendor agreementsPosition Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or highly relevant industry experienceMinimum of two years of CRO industry experience and/or vendor management experienceMinimum of two years of clinical research and/or sourcing experience Strong communication/interpersonal skills and team leadership capabilities consistent with influencing and driving multiple stakeholders towards meeting the customer's needsStrong organizational, planning and multitasking skills, as well as a predisposition to entrepreneurship, results and customer focusStrong knowledge of TFS / CRO business; strong financial acumenAdvanced computer competency with Microsoft Word and ExcelAwareness of trends and government policies and regulations in the clinical trials area of TFS Group countries Ability to work independently and efficiently Good planning, organization and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills Strong and effective presentation skillsWillingness to travel according to the needs of the vendor management strategy and to company meetings as requiredJob SummaryID:
