You will also provide specific services to all eligible beneficiaries including beneficiary education and enrollment designed to assist in operating an integrated healthcare delivery system for all eligible beneficiaries overseas.

Under minimal supervision, you will serve as a liaison for the beneficiary population.

This great job opportunity makes a difference for so many of our valued military families!PRIMARY DUTIESVerify benefits eligibility and process enrollments, disenrollments, portability transfers, and more using the Defense Online Enrollment System, Customer Relationship Manager systems, etc. Register beneficiaries in the MHS Genesis system Perform Primary Care Manager changes, following the Military Treatment Facility guidelinesProvide education on resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries on the phone and in personCollect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information for active-duty and active-duty family member portability/disenrollment processesConduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, pre-separation/retirement and othersProvide basic claims assistance such as providing information on the status of claimsCollect and record other Health Information into applicable systemsAssess the appropriate assistance level needed and refer or escalate as needed to address the issue at handCollect and report information on daily activities performedComplete on a timely basis and comply with HIPAA regulations, Leidos, and other training and refresher coursesMaintain confidentiality and proper handling of Protected Health InformationAdhere to a business casual dress codeProvide shadowing support to new BSRs as neededOther duties as assignedMINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLSA bachelor's degree in a related field OR;An associate's degree in a related field PLUS 4 years specialized experience OR;A major certification in a related field PLUS 4 years specialized experience OR;High school diploma or GED PLUS 8 years of specialized experienceMust be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member, DoD employee or US Contractor supporting the DoDMust be a US CitizenMust have a Soggiornio and Missione VisaBe eligible for and maintain ADP IT III / Non-Sensitive Position, Tier 1DESIREDBe fluent in EnglishProficient in written and oral communicationsPossess effective presentation skillsComputer literate with Internet research experienceProficient with Microsoft Office 2010 or later applications—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to reply tactfully with people on the phone and in personAbility to work independently and under general supervisionExcellent organizational skills and time management skillsDetail orientedAbility to multitaskKnowledge of Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System and MHS Genesis.
