We are currently looking for a **_Trims & Hardware Product Assistant_** to join out Product Development Team.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Allocate, source and develop high quality trims

- Support in managing the trim development across multiple categories and brands

- Manage the lifecycle of raw material trim styles - material sourcing, sample development, and shipment delivery which includes maintaining a min / max inventory

- Negotiate domestically and internationally for competitive costing to maintain company profit margins

- Lead factory development in creation of new trim styles from concept to production

- Identify problem areas and provide viable solutions, which includes foreshadowing any potential future issues

- Ability to introduce new manufacturers and materials into existing matrix

- Provide price targets and guidance within the product managers team

- Lead all notions sourcing for all garments

- Create a Trim Guidelines for cross functional teams to use

- Source core trims for all segments to utilize

- Possess strong knowledge of trims, quality and developments

- Knowledge of garment construction and finishing

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership skills

- Strong analytical and decision making skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to ensure deliveries are met

- Strong ability to lead, manage and train multiple lower level designers and multiple brand categories

- Proactive, self-motivated, advanced knowledge of how to delegate and still meet deadlines with "get it done" attitude

- Strong attention to detail and mistakes and problem solving skills

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3-4 + years experience in similar role

- In depth knowledge of trims, sourcing and development

- Must be able to perform efficiently with tight deadlines

- Goal driven

- Experience with traveling to vendors/factories

- English Language
