Italdesign is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Team Leader to become part of the Ultra Low Seried Production body development team.

S/he will be responsible to coordinate, manage and ensure target achievement on the assigned competence field.

**Responsibilities

The role, focused on coordinating a work team for the body and/or ext/int trim development on ULSP project, requires at least between 3/5 years of experience in the automotive field, both in early feasibility and series development phase.

S/He will take an active part in:

- Ensuring the technical feasibility/design convergence process- Ensuring the integration and the required performance of the different vehicle systems, within the competence field;- Ensuring/monitoring the robustness of the Data released for tooling kick off and production;- Management/coordination of the work team, production supplier and management of cooperation with other departments- Ensure alignment on technical specifications between team work, departments, suppliers and customers;- Defining/monitoring a time/budget planning and managing project workload and quality of work;- Achievement of the project's technical objectives relevant for the competence field;- Management of "escalation" process on issues related to the competence field.

**Key requirements

- Knowledge of Body and Trim feasibility and development ready for production- Production technologies and tooling lead time (Sheet metal, Aluminium, Composite, Plastic and Foam molding, welding, surface treatments, wrapping etc );- Materials technologies (material characteristics, selection and use);- Knowledge of main characteristic affecting target/performances;- Knowledge on how to deal and interprete Design model;- Development and design techniques and processes (design review, robust design, FMEA)- Ability to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;- Decision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership style;- Ability to transform technical contents/targets into economic / geometric constraints into feasible process solutions;- Problem solving, ability to synthesize information, priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience- Ability to manage component and system suppliers. - Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions;**Preferential requirements

- Technical drawing and modeling (CAD processes, basic knowledge of Catia 5 and eventually Unigraphics and data release systems);- Quality standards, processes, dynamics according to customer (OEM) process and requirements;- Legislative/homologation/rating constraints;- Knowledge of component validation methods and procedures (e. g.

testing specifications);- Ability to transfer methodology and know how in her / his own project team and to the rest of the department team.

**Additional Information

**Education**: Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials Engineering or equivalent

**Language skills**: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.

Knowledge of German would be appreciated
