Unified Communication & Collaboration Manager
S/He is responsible, as GOSP Unified Communication & Collaboration Department to design, implement and run the Target Operating Model for Unified Communication & Collaboration services for the Countries serviced by GOSP and to design and evolve ICT standards for Unified Communication & Collaboration services for the entire Generali Group.
The Unified Communication & Collaboration Manager is accountable and responsible for:
- Running and continuous improving of Unified Communication & Collaboration Services in respect of i) Group Policies, ii) contracted SLAs Vs GOSP served Legal Entities and iii) internal OLA vs other GOSP divisions; the responsibility and the accountability include all Countries and services in scope of the Target Operating Model including:
- Audio-Video equipment, infrastructure and remote and proximity audio-video technical support including Top Management and Institutional events;
- VoiP Telephony;
- Digital Building ICT solutions (e. g.
room-booking, digital signage)
- Office365 Tenant Management for GOSP and non GOSP Legal Entities;
- Office365 Products Support;
- Exchange on-prem and on-line;
- Share Point on-prem and on-line;
- IIS - Internet Infrastructure Services;
- Other Collaboration Tools (e. g.
fax, legal eMail).
- Maintaining and constantly reviewing the Unified Communication & Collaboration Services Catalogue and Standards to guarantee that they are: i) fulfilling company needs, ii) aligned with best-of-breed SLAs and market standards, iii) applied with limited and justified exceptions throughout all GOSP served legal entities, iv) maximizing the reduction of GHG emission towards the achievement of the Group Sustainability Targets.
- Designing, Deploying, Running and Continuous improvement of the Unified Communication & Collaboration Target Operating Model and extend it to all Countries serviced by GOSP to implement standardization and exploit efficiency through economies of scale and scope.
Main tasks for Unified Communication & Collaboration Manager are:
- Plan, organize, engage the Unified Communication & Collaboration central but geographically distributed team to deliver department responsibilities and targets;
- Manage the catalogue of Audio-Video services and provide high quality and high-reliable audio-video technical services and support to Institutional Events, Corporate Events, and Governance Committees (e. g.
Board of Directors);
- Collaborate with the GOSP Workplace End-Point Management and User Help-Desk teams to deliver and continuously improve Collaboration services and with other GOSP Workplace Departments and Units for what Generali O365 Tenant Management and IT Collaboration services are concerned;
- Collaborate with GOSP Security and Microsoft to constantly monitor level of security of the Generali O365 Tenant and implement Security Operations requirements;
- Collaborate with Group Procurement to plan and manage existing Workplace contracts renewal and to prepare and run tenders including Workplace services;
- Collaborate with GOSP Infrastructure Operations Service Desk to define and continuously improve availability, reliability and features of Infrastructure Capabilities enabling Workplace Services delivery (e. g.
Network, X86);
- Collaborate with GOSP CTOs and BRMs to estimate efforts for Customer Demands with Unified Communication & Collaboration activities;
- Produce and report weekly/monthly/quarterly Unified Communication & Collaboration analytics, KPIs and Services Technical Measures e. g.
to track Audio-Video events, to monitor licenses availability and assignement, O365 and collaboration services usage, SLA/OLAs and to identify opportunity of service optimization;
- Contribute to the implementation of Operational Excellence (OpEx) programs for what Unified Communication & Collaboration initiatives are concerned;
- Cascade periodically to Workplace teams Group Strategy and GOSP Strategy updates;
- Support Workplace Teams to enable "Decarbonization" and "Diversity Equity and Inclusion" (DEI) programs.
- Transformation and change management skills applied in Target Operating Model in IT and Operations are required;
- Strong balance between hard and soft skills is required;
- Proven structured communication and problem-solving skills are mandatory;
- The ability to work under pressure and handle stress.

- Structured Communication skills and ability to manage a wide array of different stakeholders;
- Strong operational focus, ability to drive topics and deliver results;
- Proven Vendor Management skills in multi-country contracts;
- Fluent English, another European and/or other language is a plus;
- A bachelor's / University degree in Business, Computing, Engineering, or related field.
Notes:
- Based in a main Generali headquarter in Europe;
- Available for frequent working travel in Generali Group Legal Entities (mainly in Europe).
