Unit Manager Logistic
Key tasks:
- Responsible for the performance and output of the Logistics Department, including financial responsibility
- Set and follow up targets for Logistics
- Drive the development of Logistic area
- Responsible for
- safety of the people, processes as goods receiving,
- inventory and deliveries to the customers
- logistic costs
- Secure Standardized work & SOPs
- Participate in deveoping logistic processes
- Make costing update for Logistic Department
- Support and initiate forwarder development activities together with support functions
- Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities
- Understand and deal with the daily activities ensuring presence
- Secure the result of Continuous Improvement activities in the unit, including Lean Six Sigma and 6S
- Perform internal audits according to the standards

- Qualifications & experience:_
Master of Engineering or equivalent experience
Leadership and management skills and experience
3-5 years of experience as a Logistic Manager in manufacturing companies
Experience from improvement tools, e g 6S, Six Sigma, Kaizen
Italian fluent
English fluent
Project work experience
Knwoledge of whareuse management, customes documents and procedures, export rules, shipping activities, internal logistics processes

Authority level / Power of procuration:
Break down the Unit´s overall targets into targets for each TeaM/Function
Follow up targets and take corrective actions in case of deviations
To stop processes within the Unit in case of safety / quality / environmental deviations
To make ALPS audits within the Unit and take corrective actions in case of deviations
To execute organizational changes in agreement with operations manager
To delegate tasks in the organisation
To set salaries within given frame
