Insures that all policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to.
Directs subordinates to accomplish goals and objectives of the operation.
Responsible for daily operational and administrative tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager.
This leadership position will work with the management team and staff to instill and foster the values of the University and Dining Services Mission Statement, focusing on our core values. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.

Duties and Responsibilities Supervise in the food production area, and be sure the employees are adhering to time guidelines for service. Inventory and order food as needed by the establishment. Supervise the receiving and storage of food and supplies. Coordinates maintenance and custodial problems with the Unit Manager. Assists the Unit Manager in the training of employees. Minimum Qualifications Proven food service experience in areas of responsibility. Three years minimum food service supervisory experience. Written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently under general supervision. General kitchen equipment knowledge. Preferred Qualifications Serv Safe Certification. Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds independently. Ability to use various chemicals.
