Role SummaryThe main objective of this role is to support the store management team in creating a store environment that promotes creativity, employee development, and the VIBE philosophy.

Support the "Peers Training Peers" philosophy of Urban Outfitters.

What You'll Be DoingPeople: Provide a positive and friendly experience by engaging customers through conversation and service. Enhance the atmosphere by focusing on customers rather than projects during peak sales hours. Deliver a shopping experience that reflects the company's mystery shop standards. Contribute to the overall store atmosphere by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others. Support company standards and act as a positive role model for colleagues. Teamwork and Communication: Work productively within the team and take the initiative to collaborate towards a common goal. Assist in the training and development of peers. Communicate positively and effectively with colleagues. Actively participate in daily and departmental meetings. Operations: Demonstrate competence in job knowledge (e. g. , cash handling, shipping activities, and fitting room guidelines). Participate in processing new shipments and help the team keep receiving and storage areas clean and organized. Assist in the timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (e. g. , markdowns, re-ticketing, transfers, and RTV). Show awareness of loss prevention guidelines and adhere to all inventory control measures. Always comply with company health and safety regulations. Merchandising & Display: Adhere to merchandising and store cleanliness standards. Ensure merchandise is available for sale and that the sales floor is well-stocked. Support sales by assisting in merchandising and display projects. Demonstrate familiarity with current products and awareness of trends. What You'll NeedPrevious experience in a retail environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market. Strong communication skills.
