Pfizer is hiring 3 talented, innovative and motivated Medical Affairs Scientists (MAS) in Vaccines Medical Affairs Department for the Northern, Central and Southern Italy.
The hiring of the Medical Affairs Scientists (MAS) Customer Engagement fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our vaccines area.
The Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) Customer Engagement will report to the Vaccines Medical Director.

- Medical Affairs Scientists (MAS) Customer Engagement will join VACINES BU Medical Team and will be responsible for all the vaccines portfolio in selected regions in Italy.
- MASs Customer Engagement identify unmet medical needs and healthcare disparities in the vaccines area through medical activities such as advisory board meetings and interactions with HCPs and other relevant individuals and organizations
- The MASs Customer Engagement will play a central role as scientific leader though identifying unmet medical needs, building medical plan and establishing evidence.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute the Medical Plan aligned with the medical strategy to meet unmet medical needs in the vaccines area
- Play a central role as a scientific leader through:
- identifying unmet medical needs and developing and executing medical plan- Establish highly reliable, long-term relationship with stakeholders
- Will be in charge of providing unbiased medical and scientific communication with HCPs, organizing medical advisory board meetings, educational seminars, and data generation initiatives, medical materials creation, and necessary scientific input
- Aligns, contributes, and collaborates with Relevant internal stakeholders
- Observe the code of conduct, company's regulations, and compliance, appropriate communication with related departments
- Ensure awareness of responsibility for reporting adverse events
- Drive data generation strategy based on medical strategies and data gap analysis
What You Offer
Basic qualifications
- MD (clinical experience, board certification preferred) /PhD in Life Science is preferred, other scientific background will also be considered.
- Capable of medical discussion with relevant departments and external HCPs.
- A person who understands compliance and relevant laws/regulations in the pharmaceutical industry and advocates the appropriate use of the products.
- Can demonstrate appropriate knowledge and understanding of internal organization structure, key stakeholders and strategies
- A person who is able to quickly acquire necessary medical/scientific knowledge and skills though self-learning
- Able to understand written and spoken English in assigned therapeutic disease area, and scientific interactions
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the relevant area: vaccines, public health
- Biotechnology, microbiology, infectious diseases scientific background
- Research experience
- Scientific publication experience
- Medical/pharmaceutical expert knowledge of therapeutic disease area/ products
- Functional English plus Italian language
