Position Summary Main Responsibilities • Application of Systems Engineering principles and workflow defined by the One Dana Mechatronic System development approach• V&V activities planning• Support the Development Team in the build of Design Validation Plan• Support the V&V Testing Team in the execution of Design Validation Tests and report the results• Validation of mechatronic systems (hardware, software, eMotors)• On field vehicle testing and performance evaluation• Report out of V&V activities updates to management and leadership• Continuous enhancement of Environment, Health & Safety culture Job Position Requirements Education : University Master Degree in  Electronic/Mechatronic/Automation Engineering.

Professional Background :  2-4 years experience in industry/academia on mechatronics projects.

Preferably including experimental/laboratory activities.

Hard Skills : • Very good engineering basics • Good spoken and written English• Knowledge of most common electric motors technology type (PMAC, ACIM, SynRM)• Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)• Technical background in power electronics products such as inverter and power converters• Experience in debugging/testing with laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, function generator, power analyzer, etc.

)• Accuracy on project deliveries following internal processes Considered as a plus : • Knowledge of DSP and micro-controller architectures • Product Development in accordance with functional safety standards• Familiarity with industriual CAN communication protocols (e. g.

J1939, canOPEN, UDS)• Vector VectorCast/CanAlyzer/CanApe/Candela Studio• MIL/HIL testing environments• Matlab/Simulink• dSpace software validation toolchain Soft Skills : •  Attitude to Project Management • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward• Able to work focused on targets, take responsibility and able to drive project results• Able to work independently and cooperatively with a largely diverse cross functional group and international multi-cultural environment• Strong Teamwork approach and organizations skills• Good verbal and written communication skills• Reliable team player that collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates different inputs• Dynamic, quick thinking, hardworking individual who leads by example.
