We are currently looking for a Validation Engineer to support one of our projects in Reggio Emilia.

Job Description:

As a Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of our electronic products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive validation plans, conducting rigorous testing procedures to verify the functionality and quality of our products and adherence to industry standards. Your role will involve identifying potential issues, troubleshooting problems, and implementing effective solutions to ensure product reliability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute validation strategies and test plans for electronic systems and components, including hardware and firmware. Design and conduct tests to verify product functionality, performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Conduct stress testing to identify and address potential issues or vulnerabilities. Analyze test results, identify issues, and propose solutions to improve product quality. Collaborate with design and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Document test procedures, results, and findings in compliance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities to ensure product quality and integrity

About you:

Master's degree in Electronic or Telecommunications Engineering. Experience with electronic test equipment (such as oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generators, power supply, spectrum analyzer). Knowledge in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or LabVIEW for test automation and scripting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Fluent English. Nice to Have:

Understanding of communication protocols (such as CAN, MOST, A2B, etc. ), hardware interfaces, system integration, and vehicle architecture. Understanding of RF system design principles and familiarity with Wireless Communication Standards and Technologies. Experience in validation engineering within the electronic industry, with a strong understanding of hardware and firmware testing methodologies. Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e. g. , MATLAB, Minitab, etc. ). Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Next Steps

Someone from the Talent Acquisition department will contact you to schedule an initial HR interview.

If successful, a second interview will be conducted to validate your technical knowledge. In case of a positive outcome from the technical interview, there will be a last qualification meeting with the Client. If the final outcome is positive, we will discuss our proposal with you. Alternatively, if the outcome is negative, we will share our sincere feedback !
