Chiesi CCO - Commercial Organization
Following the continued growth of the Company and the increasing portfolio complexity, Chiesi decided to introduce the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) role and organization.
The new organization is a truly global operating model, ensuring a uniform approach across all geographies (30 affiliates worldwide).
The CCO Organization includes Global Marketing, Global Medical Affairs, Global Value & Access and all the commercial functions of every affiliate.
Who we are looking for
Purpose
The Value & Access Manager Special Care is accountable for the development and execution of the market access strategy and activities related to Special Care brands.
He/she works both within the Special Care GVA team, in particular with HEOR and pricing special care colleagues and cross-functionally with Global Medical Affairs, Global Marketing and R&D to provide input throughout the whole lifecycle of Chiesi's brands with the ultimate goal to support patient access.
His/her main objective is to develop Global Value and Access plans and drive their execution for in-market and pipeline products in the therapeutic area of specific responsibility.
Main Responsibilities
Define and implement the overall market access and pricing strategy for new and existing products
Define the pricing and market access potential of R&D and in-licensing projects, together with other commercial functions
Contribute to Clinical Development Plans in support of full patient access while ensuring a fair price is achieved
Contribute to the definition of Value Story / Value pillars, in collaboration with other GVA / Commercial functions
Contribute to Global Value dossiers / other Value Communication tools
Drive market access strategy implementation in affiliates through development of adequate guidelines and supporting Global Packages
Represent GVA in cross-functional Project Teams
Respond to the specific needs of affiliates, including overlooking and approving P&R strategies, HTA and/or P&R submission dossiers ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy and supporting a positive relationship with national payers
Establish / maintain strong collaboration with leaders from other internal functions, driving cultural change towards value-based approaches
Ensure compliance with all internal, external and regulatory agencies and bodies rules
Monitor the evolution of market access trends.
Experience Required
Significant experience ( 4 years of pharmaceutical/ healthcare/ consultancy experience including 2+ years Global or European experience in market access), proven track record of market access strategy development and execution, mastery of HTA processes, understanding of international pricing and reimbursement mechanisms.
Education
Master's degree in Life-sciences, Health Economics / Economics, Health Policy.
MBA, PhD in Market Access would represent a plus.
Languages
Fluent English is required.
Technical Skills
**The position requires expertise in the following areas**:
Understanding the global payer and HTA landscape and main P&R archetypes
Qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
Supporting assessment of business development opportunities providing P&R assumptions/risks
Building V&A strategies and providing inputs to evidence generation from phase 1 to LoE
Contributing to the development of Value Stories, Global Value Dossiers, other value communication tools
Develop and test the value proposition and key value messages
