**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.
The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).
Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
**Position**:
The Venue Development & Overlay (VDO) functional area is composed by areas such as Design/Delivery, Cost & Contract, Engineering Services, Programme Management and Signage and Wayfinding. VDO is responsible for the planning, design and delivery of temporary infrastructure for all competition and main non-competition venues.
VDO is looking for a Programme Manager to play a key role to support in developing and managing the programming and scheduling services necessary for the functional area and the readiness/delivery planning for all the temporary overlay/infrastructure required.
This position is an integral part of the VDO functional area, within the Programme Management team, and will support the whole VDO team on the planning and delivery of the temporary infrastructures for all competition and main non-competition venues in line with the agreed milestones. This role is key for wider scheduling/programme integration with interfacing departments and stakeholders, resolution of timeline issues, and regular programme management.
- Development and delivery of VDO programme and schedule related services, including risks & issues management.
- Develop and manage the Venue Integrated Schedule (VIS) team ensuring the integration between VDO suppliers and other key FAs.
- Support the development of VDO strategic plans and documents.
- Participate in the ongoing monitoring and refreshing of the VDO Master Programme, focusing on all pre-installation planning processes.
- Plan, prepare and implement the Venue Integration Group (VIG) focusing on early and effective integration of stakeholders' infrastructure and operational programme/delivery requirements.
- Share ideas and information with the team and contribute to the team environment.
**Requirements**:
- Capability of managing projects, programs, people and delivery on time
- Integration of multiple stakeholders needs and specifications
- Good coordinator with common sense and able to make priorities
- Knowledge of temporary infrastructures for major sport events. Understanding of all phases of temporary infrastructure for sport events, from planning, design, procurement, until delivery and site management.
- Experience in Project/ Programme Manager role in major multi-sport events.
- Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration
- Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage
- IT-experienced, professional use of MS Project software, knowledge of Smartsheet and usual Office softwares.
