Are you looking for a challenging and dynamic environment where to build your professional career?
We are looking for a **Vehicle Application SET Team Leader **to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the **Head of Vehicle Application and Controls.
Your main activities will be:
- Being accountable for systems/components quality, costs, compliance duties and deadlines within the technical area
- Being accountable for Business Case preparation on possible solutions
- Being responsible for tracking deadlines for the engineering team on different topics, like: quality, costs, compliance.
This will have to be done in alignment with the Project Leader Systems of the specific model line
- Being accountable for agreements and trade-offs, within your delegation of authority or escalating to PL Systems/ CTE in case of deviation outside your delegation of authority or veto by SET member, preparing underlying analyses for decision
- Being responsible for the steering and the coordination of the assigned SET Teams (simultaneous engineering team).
The members of the team are from the engineering, quality, and purchasing departments
- Being accountable for tracking timing and costs of systems/components, periodically aligning the Planner
- Being accountable for managing budget within your threshold
- Being accountable for systems/components modification within your authority or prepare the documentation for escalation.
- Being accountable for BoM and FAKOM progress
- Having knowledge of markets local laws and fuel emissions requirement, even for emergent markets
**About you
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Physics, Engineering, or an equivalent education.
- Team Leadership experience within the automotive industry or similar domain
- Good understanding of component & system design
- Good quality and concern reports management
- Experience in component release, BOM management
- Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus
- Strong interpersonal and team-working skills, as well as a high affinity for tracking supplier and delivering first-quality products to the customer
- Able to adopting a creative & thoughtful approach to concept design and solving engineering problems
- Ability to communicate clearly with design and development groups
- Well organised, delivery focused - with demonstrable record of on-time delivery
