We are looking for a Vehicle Cost Engineer to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Product Line Director. You will be responsible to coordinate cost engineering activities starting from the pre-PEP phase project (early phase) till the end of the production and you have to ensure constant synchronization with product development timeline, milestones and project costs aimed to respect the defined target and relatives modules.

Define technical/technological choices to achieve cost material and project investment targets defined by Finance dept. Cost analysisActs as interface with Finance, Procurement and R&D aimed to ensure the synchronization of activities between the definition of the target and the value engineering starting from the early phase and through the product development planSupervise change management process and collect reporting status to ensure target costsSupport profitability initiatives and design to cost ensuring the active involvement of R&D dept, After Sales dept and Procurement dept. Report to Product Line Director the main cost status of the project. About you Preferably degree in EngineeringAt least 5 years' experience in managing technical and high complex challenges projectsKnowledge of manufacturing, engineering and financial principles and processesFully proficient in English, German as a plusProject managementSelf confidenceFlexibility (modifications, re-planning, coordination with other units)Teamwork, also in the context of international teamsEmpathy and active listeningInterpersonal communication and conflict managementAnalysis and problem solvingWhat we offer Holistic Well-Being programParenthood programSpecific job posting for internal employees
