- In order to strengthen our engineering team we are looking to hire a Vehicle NVH Homologation Specialist, based in Maranello (Italy).
In this position, you will contribute to the definition and achievement of what future Ferrari cars will sound, leading activities on noise compliance to legal regulations and homologation.
- As part of the team, you will responsabile of:
- Definition of the homologation technical contents for future Ferrari cars involving internal combustion engines and electric motors;
- Conduction and document Setting, Deployment and Achievement of NVH targets for noise emissions for one or a few related vehicle models, in line with time and budget constraints;
- Collaboration with the Sound Manager, the Sound Specialists and all the related stakeholders inside and outside the NVH Group, especially to anticipate and resolve trade-offs between contrasting attributes;
- Perform vehicle measurements;
- Contribution on defining the structure of report results and maintain the homologation repository internal to the NVH & Sound group.
In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (e. d.
Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial).
And you will have gained at least 2 years' dedicated experience in NVH activities with solid concepts of Acoustics, Signal Processing and Fluid Dynamics.
In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to work in a highly-dynamic and fast-changing environment, strong teamwork skills, attention to details and accountability.
It is important to be proactive proposing new solutions to optimize all the processes and activities.
Will to learn and keep up with noice regulations are mandatory to manage the activities (Passby noice: UNECE R51; AVAS: UNECE R138 and FMVSS 141).
The ability to organize and/or conduct homologation campaigns is considered an advantage.
Fluent English is required for the position and Italian language skills are an advantage.
