**Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026** is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2, 300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22, 000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

**Position**:

The Venue Press Operations Manager has the key role in leading the planning and delivery of all facilities and services for press and photo stakeholders across all clusters and venues, in liaison with the IOC and IPC.

- Responsible for the general and detailed planning and delivery of press facilities and services at competition and non-competition venues;

- Be the Press Operations point of contact for all press matters at venue level;

- Participate in all the meetings related to clusters and venues;

- Coordinate the venue press operations team;

- Coordinate venue press operations volunteers (contacts, recruitment, Q&A, training, etc.

);

- Coordinate the definition of furniture and technology requirements for all venues in liaison with the Logistics and Technology Functional Areas;

- Support Press Services on accreditation and transport requirements for press clients related to venues;

- Produce a written debrief to the Head of Press Operations;

- Participate in the Press Operations core team meetings;

- Coordinate the Venue Press Operations core team;

**Requirements**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of international sports media landscape.

- Clear understanding of the needs of written press and photographers and knowledge of their activities and work approach both before and during Games Time.

- Pro-active approach and creative problem-solving skills

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

- Experience in detailed planning, implementation and delivery of media operations at international sport events, preferably in previous Olympic Games.

- Experience managing multiple stakeholders.

- Experience in event management, including working with and coordinating suppliers.

- Excellent language skills in English, knowledge of one or several other Olympic movement official languages is an advantage.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

- Driving License.
