Sorint. Lab S. p. A. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veritas NetBackup System Administrator expert to join our team in Rome.

PROFILE DESCRIPTION:

Specialist support for enterprise customers in the Data Protection area, with a focus on backup and recovery solutions using Veritas NetBackup;Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of backup infrastructure in line with customer requirements;Incident and problem management within backup systems for high-availability environments. REQUIRED SKILLS*:

Strong expertise in Veritas NetBackup administration and troubleshooting;Proficient in data backup and recovery methodologies;Experience with backup solutions architecture and implementation;Good knowledge of storage environments and integration with backup solutions;Familiarity with backup configuration for various operating systems (e. g. , Windows, Linux). TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:

Install and configure Veritas NetBackup environments, including media servers and backup clients;Perform routine backup tasks, including configuration, monitoring, and restoration as needed;Handle requests and incident management related to backup systems;Ensure regular system checks and performance tuning of backup infrastructure. NICE TO HAVE:

Basic knowledge of VMware and cloud platforms;Familiarity with network fundamentals and Linux systems;Problem-solving and teamwork skills;Proficiency in spoken and written English. NOTES: Open to both onsite and remote work arrangements, depending on project requirements.

WORKPLACE: Initially remotely, with the possibility of onsite work as required by project scope in Rome, Italy.
