Vertical Key Account Retail - North West Italy
The Vertical Key Account Manager Retail is responsible for driving sales growth and maximizing profitability from GDO accounts within the North-West of Italy, with a focus on the COOP & CONAD cooperatives that operate in the region.
This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, implementing sales strategies, and achieving profitability targets.
The Vertical Key Account Manager needs to be able to plan and execute a medium-term vision, based on thorough understanding of customers and market trends.
RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:Ensure that the terms and pricing negotiated with the clients' HQ are correctly executed with the local clients. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients within the assigned region. Understand clients' business objectives, challenges and requirements. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve volume and profitability targets, Collaborate with field sales teams and other departments to align strategies with the overall company goals. Utilize CRM tools to manage customer information, track sales activities, and monitor account performance. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner. Collaborate with the customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction. 3-4 years' experience in sales and account management, preferably in the FMCG industry and GDO. Familiarity with FMCG market dynamics and distribution channel. Good knowledge of Office applications - especially Excel. Fluent in English. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset. Team player with an open mind and flexible attitude.
