Our client is a Milan-based Real Estate private equity platform who is in the early stage of their growth, as they implement their pan-European investment strategy.

At this critical point in their development, they are looking to recruit a Vice President to support the partners with their significant growth plans for opportunistic multi-sector acquisitions across Europe.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, self-starter – a technically strong investment professional – looking to work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment in a growing team in Milan.

The successful candidate will join an expanding platform that is still in its European adolescence, but which benefits from the continued support of experienced and well-respected senior leaders.

The Role:

Based in Milan, with pan-European coverage, the Vice President Acquisitions will play a key part in investing across the region.

As a key senior member of the Investment team, you will be responsible for:

Evaluation of real estate investment and development opportunitiesResponsible for underwriting and closing real estate investments across the firm's strategies in a range of European marketsLeverage existing, and developing new trusted relationships with owner/operators, developers, investors, brokers, lenders/bankers, and other marketing sources to generate ongoing lists of qualified investment opportunitiesExpected to make substantial contributions to analysis that will inform the firm's investment decisionsOversee and drive a thorough, detail oriented due diligence process protecting the firm's risk profile throughout the transactionLeading deal execution processesManage small deal teams to process and execute transactions while developing junior talentPreparation of market research updates, sector analysis and benchmarking studiesManaging and monitoring existing investmentsTo qualify, candidates must possess:

MBA or similar university degreeMinimum 7 plus years of relevant real estate investment experience with PRIOR experience of working in LondonProven investment track record of sourcing, structuring and closing transactions. Self-starter who can take deal from initial analysis to due diligenceExcellent due diligence, analytical, transaction structuring and financial skills. Disciplined and rigorous in underwriting and managing investments
