We are an independent creative studio producing a series of high-quality video campaigns and storytelling sequences for a variety of publications and products. Our current productions center on dance, literature, and lifestyle, combining cinematic visuals with engaging narratives

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Videographer who can capture stunning visuals that align with our brand's storytelling aesthetic. This role is suited for someone who has experience filming narrative-driven projects, a strong eye for composition, and can collaborate with a creative team to bring story concepts to life on screen.

Key Responsibilities

- Filming & Cinematography: Capture high-quality footage on location, including a mix of dance performances, cityscapes, and interiors that showcase our story themes.

- Storytelling Focus: Collaborate with the director and creative team to understand the narrative and visually translate story elements through shot selection, composition, and camera movement.

- Production Planning: Assist with pre-production tasks, including location scouting and visual planning to ensure seamless shoot days.

- Lighting & Composition: Set up appropriate lighting for each scene, adjusting to ambient or natural light when on location.

- Editing Collaboration: Work with the post-production team, providing organized footage and offering input on video editing to align with creative goals.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a videographer, ideally with a portfolio of cinematic, storytelling, or lifestyle projects

- Proficiency in camera equipment (DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema cameras) and knowledge of lighting and sound basics

- Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to various filming environments

- Creative eye for framing, composition, and lighting

- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours based on production schedules

- Editing skills are a plus but not essential

Compensation

Competitive project-based rate with potential for additional compensation based on experience and scope.
