Responsibilities
Société Générale Securities Services (SGSS) Italy, based in Milan and Turin, is recognized among the leading players of the Italian securities services market for the quality and competitiveness of its post-trade solutions. With almost 600 staff and offices in Milan and Turin, SGSS provides post-trading services for a portfolio of securities held in Custody and Custodian Services to Italian funds. Its clients are institutional investors, asset managers, and financial intermediaries.
Our main mission is to contribute to the TANDEM initiative, working on automations to deliver quick win solutions to the business.
Main tasks:
Working on TANDEM backlog for each value chain, contributing to solution definition and implementation.
Cooperate with business to understand their needs and find solutions leveraging small scripts of MS Office suite tools.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
Graduate with a Master's degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Information Technology.
A previous experience in:
SQLServer / Database in general
Troubleshooting
MSExcel with 'PowerQuery' feature
PowerBI
VBA scripts
Python
CSV - XLS - XML - PDF formats as sources of data
Language skills:
English - fluent (B2-C1)
Italian - elementary
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Proficient/Good command of MS Office.
Good communication and presentation skills.
MS Office suite:
MSExcel
PowerBI
XML, CSV
Any standard format to store data.
SCRIPTS and automation:
Python
VBA script
Power Query feature of MSOffice suite
Collaborating with others.
Attention to details and problem-solving.
Continuous learning.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell:
This VIE in Italy is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please ensure your passport is valid for up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to avoid delays.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria, open to candidates under 28 from the member states of the European Economic Space.
