Posting Details (Default Section) Posting Number: 20231087F Position Title: Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor - Department of Communication Position Type: Faculty Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Applicants Work Schedule: full-time/9-months Department: 145-Communication Position Summary: The Department of Communication at Villanova University seeks applicants for a one-year, visiting position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, to begin Fall 2024 and end Spring 2025.
The position will require teaching undergraduate courses on a 4-4 teaching load.
This position may be renewed for a second year.
With one of the largest undergraduate majors in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the Communication Department offers course work leading to the B. A.
in Communication with opportunities to specialize in eight different areas of the discipline.
In addition, the Department supports a thriving M. A.
program in Communication.

Those candidates who can speak to connections between rhetorical studies and interdisciplinary areas such as Africana Studies, Deaf and Disability Studies, Gender and Women's Studies, and/or Latinx Studies are especially encouraged to apply.
