Visual Designer, Amazon Brand Innovation Lab
Solid design experience (within an agency is preferable)
- Bachelor's or a higher degree in Visual Communications/Advertising Design/Graphic Design.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity, self-prioritize, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Mastery of the principles of design, colour theory, typography and graphics file creation optimised for digital media.
- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising or shopping solutions.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties in a professional manner, maintaining effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exceptional computer skills using Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English is a must, written and verbal
- Design creative executions including but not limited to Amazon-owned devices brand and ad placements, maintaining high productivity, quality standards and meeting turnaround time targets.
- Ensure design requirements are met in adherence with product specs, policies and creative guidelines.
- Optimize digital assets for web, mobile, big screen and other devices.
- Propose best in class costumer experience by integrating style guides, creativity, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.
- Help ensure quality control, while working closely with marketing stakeholders, design peers and quality specialist.
- Exhibit an ability to follow creative lead as expected, and also contribute to push the creative envelope in a constructive, memorable way with the customer in mind.
- Act as an expert for one or more design categories, helping resolve customer queries, troubleshooting when needed, as well as training and mentoring new employees.
- Be able to incorporate an analytical and strategical thinking.
*Experienced working with multiple partners and stakeholders and communicate efficiently to solve challenges and pushing projects and campaigns forward.
- A sponsorship experience in preferable but not mandatory.
A day in the life
- Executing best in class brand experiences using the Amazon canvas.
- Sync with internal and external partners to present and discuss your work.
- Independently lead campaign executions and collaborate with EU creative team making sure all parties are aligned.
- Experience creating a design guide or design template.
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and scale that had measurable impact, with proven examples of design problem-solving, impacting team or program business goals.
- Experience in Digital Marketing and branded content (editorial or sponsorships).
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated experience of having high adaptability.
