Visual Merchandising Specialist
The Visual Merchandising Specialist is in charge of support the implementation and development of Merchandising activities and strategies that promote the sellout of sales products and facilitate navigation by the consumer within the POS.
He/she will be responsible to build and maintain relationships with clients to maintain continuous and constant collaboration between the parties and develop knowledge on Merchandising techniques and provide training to the sales force.
**Key Performance Areas & Description
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Coordinates the implementation of visual merchandising planogram with the brand's Trade Marketing team
- Finds excellent partner for the implementation of VM activities
- Creates winning partnerships with retailers
- Acts as an interface between retailers and the company
- Coordinate and plan, with the support of the Marketing, Trade Marketing and Commercial department, all activities within the store with the aim of ensuring excellence and efficiency in execution (in line with EMEA guidelines)
- Interface the functions of International Merchandising to define the guidelines in Italy for standard projects and special projects
- Support new openings and remodeling of stores, according to requests and deadlines provided by clients
- Develop ideas and solutions to support local projects, to give more visibility to the brand and activate new sell out logic
- Manage and monitor the equipment needed to carry out the activities of Merchandising and decide which materials to develop through local production and which to find from the International
- Build good relations with suppliers, take care of the local production of materials and get an advantageous quality/ price ratio
- Coordinating the Corporate Merchandising department to support the brand.
**Qualifications
- University Degree in Marketing, Architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years VM experience in a retail / cosmetics / luxury goods or FMCG arena
- Good knowledge of market, retailers and competitors in order to deliver effective visual merchandising actions
- Great communication skills
- Personality: positive attitude and great attention to details
- Ability to work on different projects at the same time with great attention to structure rather than creativity
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
