Join us as a VMware Outside Technical Specialist on our Systems Engineering team in Italy to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact.

What you'll achieve

As a VMware Outside Technical Specialist, you will provide pre-sales technical support to our field sales teams, helping to define the overall Dell Technologies solution for our customers using the full range of company products and services.

You will:

- Increase VMware&Dell Joint Solutions sales through direct and indirect models

- Support Dell core presales to define and size VMware&Dell Joint Solutions

- Train regularly Dell core presales (and sales sometimes) on VMware&Dell Joint Solutions

- Work with VMware Presales counterparts to sync up on opportunities, and act as liaison

- Maintain personal in-depth technical knowledge on vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize, Cloud Foundation, workspace 1, Horizon, CarbonBlack, Tanzu

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements

- University Degree and 8+ years proven track record of Sales Engineering roles, preferably within the IT industry

- VMware VCP certifications and technical understanding of VMware infrastructure products/service offerings

- Strong organizational, planning, influencing and communication skills

- Self-starter capable of working on your own initiative

- Fluent English
