What you'll achieve
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for building strong customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers.
You will:
- Manage a territory or group of accounts to ensure opportunities are identified and closed.
- Attain sales target on revenue and margin for VMware.
- Customarily and regularly engage at customer/client facilities and deliver high impact presentations leveraging strong licensing skills.
- Recommend product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements
- Viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the customer and uses in-depth knowledge of Dell's 3rd party Software solutions to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
- 5-10 years proven track record of face to face selling, preferred within the IT industry and preferably within the Corporate and/or MB market in Italy
- Engages cross functional resources, regardless of geographic location, in order to achieve goal/meet customer needs.
- Keeps account team up to speed on new Software products/services and how they can integrate in Dell solutions
- Preferred knowledge of Dell Technologies and 'first and best' strategy with VMware.
Ideally strong knowledge of the VMware portfolio and solutions.
Desirable Requirements
- Ability to analyze multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs recommending appropriate solution.
- Ability to utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, and recommend alternative business solutions.
