Vodafone: Agile Coach
Role purposeThe Agile Coaches are responsible for leading and supporting transformation initiatives across the entire organization.
Working closely with their peers in the Agile Coaching Chapter, they support Vodafone employees, including but not limited to Squad Members, Product Owners and Cluster/Tribe Leaders in the adoption of Agile practices, methodologies, and behaviours.
Their goal is establishing an Agile mindset both in the digital and in the traditional organization, to make the Organization more resilient and adaptable to ever-changing business contexts. Key accountabilities and decision ownershipCoaching:
collaborate with our stakeholders at Individual, Team and Enterprise level, in supporting and improving their creative and decision-making process in strategic, operational and organizational issues to help them find solutions which fit with their needs and context. Continuous Improvement and Experimentation:
foster, at any level of the organization, a mindset of learning from failure by continuously experimenting, inspecting and adapting our ways of working. Facilitation:
participate in meetings, workshops and team events guiding and owning the conversation process to ensure tangible outcome, while keeping an impartial stance and ensuring equal voice and mutual respect among all the participants. Training:
design and deliver experiential trainings about Agile and Lean to both the Digital and non-Digital organization, adapting the content based on the audience needs and context. Practices and Tools:
be a mentor in the adoption of frameworks, methodologies, good practices and tools that help increase the efficiency of our processes, the quality of our products and services andthe collaboration between various stakeholders. Core competencies, knowledge and experienceAgile:
Creates a professional relationship in order to develop others by using coaching, mentoring, feedback and stretch assignments supporting Vodafone's learning culture.
Facilitation:
Can take different perspectives into account and convince others to take action using compelling arguments whilst maintaining and building relationships. Business Partnering:
Demonstrates robust understanding of business needs; identifies and prioritizes stakeholders; builds sustainable relationships to drive increased business performance and best value outcomes. Must have technical / professional qualificationsProven experience as Agile Coach and/or Scrum Master within large delivery organisations, with demonstrable experience leading and adapting teams on agile methodologiesLeader with the ability to develop and communicate the objectives, inspire, coach, and motivate the teamExpertise in Agile methodologies and toolsAbility to continue to monitor, learn, and implement best practices via the agile communityPreferably certified Agile Coach like SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Kanban Management Professional (KMP) or similar - comfortable with servant leadership styleCertified Agile Leadership (CAL1) or equivalent is a plus
