Vp Operational Excellence & Quality
Drive operational excellence in Sidel's Supply Chain and facilitate its continuous improvement as one integrated system through the deployment of proven methodologies that enable strategizing, identifying and eradicating losses, putting systems in place to sustain results and enable people to work autonomously by learning continuously.
The facilitation scope of continuous improvement includes all aspects of Sidel's Industrial Base, Suppliers Management, Logistics, Planning and all interfaces with adjacent areas like Projects, Engineering and Customer Management.
Besides the overall drive of the Supply Chain continuous improvement and the methodology ownership, the Operational Excellence VP will have direct responsibility over the Global Quality team in Supply Chain and also the Global Industrial Engineering area.
All responsibilities involve defining, prioritizing and managing differents programs, ensuring its effective execution by leading global teams, partnering with Senior internal stakeholders to secure and increase the competitiveness of our Supply Chain in alignment with Leading Excellence activities.
**Your Mission**:
**Main Responsibilities
- ** Operational Excellence**: approach and methodology implemmentation, peers engagement and training, priority setting aligned with business needs and track execution for the optimization of key Supply Chain results ( Productivity, Quality, Cost, Deliveries, Safety, Morale, Environment, Social, Governance )
- **Quality results and reputation**: improve customer experience, reduce cost of non Quality, reduce on-conformities, drive prevention mindset, Certification system - ISO )
- ** Industrial engineering & equip.
design**: coordinate industrialization and contribute to new product development to secure cost effective design for manufacturing and supply
**Missions
- Define SC quality management system and policy.
Define & implement needed improvements to (potentially) reach ISO Certification
- Define quality process (Gates) & testing SOP
- Make sure to utilize defined methodologies / tools to avoid mistakes, ensure right product at the first time, productivity/costs
- Define SC quality training & coaching program to fulfill expected competencies development
- Define SC quality improvement roadmap in alignment with Group Quality roadmap, including Supplier Quality improvement
- Perform internal and external (Suppliers) verifications to quality standards compliance.
Define improvement action plans
- Consolidate Quality & CI performances and verify compliance to SC indicators defined in agreement with Group Quality strategy (i. e.
: NCs reduction, LT reduction, etc.
)
- Conduct internal and external (Suppliers) benchmarks & best practices sharing
- Support initiatives to develop Quality and CI culture in Sidel.
Push / force our Suppliers to do the same
- Lead or support QMS tools improvement (i. e: Contact Center, new PLM, ERP, etc. . )
- Support in advanced investigation & problem solving
**Your Profile**:
**Qualifications & languages
- English
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Management as a minimum
**Professional Experience
- 10+ years of experience in industry, manufacturing, quality, industrial engineering
- WCM successful experience as a practitioner
- TPM/Lean/ 6 Sigma knowledge
- Desirable experience as a Production Site Director
