Warehouse & Shipments Manager
Purpose of the position**:
Currently we are looking for a Warehouse and Shipments Manager who will be responsible for supervising warehouse workers in accordance with policies and procedures and ensure smooth material flow.
The main focus will be optimum management of on-site inventory from inbound (receiving) to outbound (line replenishment).
**Key responsibilities**:
Safety- Maintain physical condition of the Warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to maximise space utilisation and optimise workflows;
- Carry out daily team meetings to review safety, quality and production issues;
- Follow the Company Health and Safety standards;
- Risk assessments;
- Ensure all machines and equipment are operated safely and according to instructions and all control/monitoring logs are updated and maintained by Warehouse personnel.
Quality- Participate in daily Production meetings to support cross-functional initiatives and provide support to resolve issues affecting Production;
- Drive continuous improvement and achievement of KPIs for inbound and outbound activities;
- Identify safety, quality and production related issues and assist with root cause analysis and validate agreed corrective actions;
- Ownership of warehouse 6s activities.
Delivery- Develop inventory management and stock control systems for inbound and outbound to Production line replenishment to ensure continuity of supply to Production;
- Timely response to and management of issues which may interfere with Production and/or Shipping schedules in cooperation with relevant cross-functional personnel;
- Ownership of warehouse SQDIP board where applicable.
Inventory- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through robust and disciplined processes;
- Timely completion of transactions on LN ERP;
- Drive inventory reduction initiatives in conjunction with the Sourcing and Logistics teams.
**Other key duties**:
- Manage and control inventory levels in conjunction with the Inventory Control team by conducting physical counts periodically and annual full cycle count;
- Interview and train new hires as required;
- Day to day management of the assigned team to include training, development and performance management;
- Organisation and training of team members to ensure cover for planned and unplanned absences, eg through cross training and job rotation;
- Any other ad-hoc duties which may arise from time to time;

**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Graduate Level 6-7 or relevant experience in a similar environment;
- Minimum two years leading a Warehouse team within a medium/high volume manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge and experience of ERP systems, eg SAP/LN;
- Organisational & Time Management Skills;
- Leadership and Ability to motivate teams;
- Very good communication skills (written and verbal);
- Ability to foster good relations and teamwork for ongoing improvement;
- Disciplined and goal oriented;
- Flexible and open to change.
