**WD+C Milan City Manager - Temporary Assignment
**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Team we have an exiting temporary assignment (minimum 12 months)!
We're looking for a Workplace and Operations manager for Milano!
We expect this new member of the team have a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in high-profile project
- and operations management within the Facilities Management or Hospitality Industry.
This person has a proven track record in leading strategic partners and suppliers, ensuring that they are set up for success in operating Nike's inspiring workplace with world-class services and access to sports.
We also look for a great teammate that is able to effectively establish positive relationships within WD+C and the cross-functional teams to integrate and implement enterprise strategies collectively in the key city!
**DURING THIS ASSIGNMENT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Manage strategic partner(s) to drive most value for Nike within a geo led collaborative partnership including contract management with well-defined KPI's
- Lead a team of strategic partner senior professionals, provide direction and support to ensure the team is meeting performance expectations
- Lead the seamless operation of high-end workplace services including facility management, Sport and F&B
- Budget administration for operational excellence and overall productivity
- Collect key city data to identify trends, insights and gaps to advise geo strategy, as well as relevant programmin
- Drive access to sports via sports programs
- and partnerships that remove barriers to Making Sport A Daily Habit and contribute to active cities strategy
- Partner with environments teams and strategic partners to build out the employee experience of building launches and moves
- Implement and drive WD+C EMEA strategic workplace technologies
- Implement new processes and programs to increase efficiency and overall value to the organization
- Lead all efforts to make the workplace greener, minimize Nike's environmental impact and to achieve Nike´s purpose targets
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners to develop and advance the workplace experience in territory.
Stakeholders include but are not limited to Territory Leadership Teams, HR, Communications, Technology, Legal, Resilience, Security etc.
**WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Reporting to the Director WD+C Key Cities, you will implement the workplace strategy in Milano supported by the EMEA Environment
- and Experiences teams.
You will work closely with cross-functional partners to provide thought leadership, manage business relationships and execute on workplace initiatives.
You will collaborate with senior leaders, and are the WD+C eyes and ears on the ground advocating for the workplace of the future and collecting insights to drive innovation.
WHAT YOU BRING
- BA or BS required; Hospitality Industry or Consumer Goods workplaces preferred with a focus on large scale operations.
- Minimum of 5-year work experience in high-profile project
- and operations management within the Facilities Management/Hospitality Industry
- Demonstrated experience leading strategic partners and supplier management, ideally at a Fortune 500 company
- Excellent understanding of Facilities, Food and Sport industry and its trends
- Proven ability to operationalize business strategies
- Ability to influence multiple business partners across all levels of the organization
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
- Competence to articulate complex business concepts in English
- Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize tasks of competing priority
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of FMMS / CAFM systems
- A relevant network in the territory workplace and sports industry
- A team player aiming for shared success
- Financial and business acumen
- Preparedness to travel
