As a Market Supervisory Manager Vice President, you will be responsible for supporting the Wealth Management activities in Milan. Job Responsibilities:Escalate issues to senior management within all areas of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of defenseProvide 1st level control and oversight of the investment businessReview and assess client trading activity and any potential suitability issues on a pre-execution basisReview and assess client suitability profiles based on data collected from clients and the front officeReview and assess investment concentration issues in client accountsReview and assess email communications which trigger against firm-wide policiesReview materials provided to clients to ensure they are appropriate and aligned to the clients' investment objectives and needsReact to, manage, and handle potential client situations, trading errors, or client complaintsAttend front office meetings to provide relevant feedback and stay apprised of their current prioritiesPerform change management in respect of changes in policies, procedures, and processes related to investment activities, including implementation and training on enhanced suitability framework and new trading protocolInvestigate and report on Operational RiskRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:At least 5 years of experience with financial institutions in first line of defense oversight and control, supervisory risk and control, or related functionsBachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related fieldA self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic and has a keen interest in risk and control frameworks as well as the regulatory landscapeExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple work-streams to tight deadlines and re-prioritize as requiredThink like an owner with a business mindset and able to deal with issues independentlyA strong interest in and sound understanding of financial markets, products, and wealth management is a prerequisite for any potential candidateStrong and proven experience gained within financial institutions, including monitoring experienceStrong communication and negotiation skills: the role will involve communicating with employees of varying levels, with diverse roles and different native languagesPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Fluency in English and the language of the platform.
