We develop Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) in compliance with INSPIRE as well as solutions for Smart City and complex systems to support decisions that exploit geographic information, and Earth observation data, according to the new paradigms of Cloud and Software As a Service. Specifically in the Space field, the target market consists of space agencies (e. g.

the Italian Space Agency and the European Space Agency with their scientific and operational programs) and those related (such as Galileo) and the major players in the aerospace market. Planetek develops and integrates hardware and software infrastructures for the acquisition, processing and distribution of remote sensing data along their entire chain of production: from Earth Observation to Deep Space; from the Space Segment to the Ground Segment and the User Segment.

Our main responsibilities fall into Systems and Software Engineering with strong verticalization towards Space Mission Analysis and Design (SMAD). You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the space industry.

You will play a critical role in developing software solutions and applications that support space missions, satellite systems, and data analysis in the space domain. Responsibilities:Collaborate with the design team to translate UX and UI designs into responsive web interfaces. Develop web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue. js, and hybrid mobile app frameworks like Flutter. Implement web standards and best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability. Optimize web performance by applying techniques such as code minification, lazy loading, and image optimization. Utilize HTML, CSS, and TypeScript to build intuitive and interactive user interfaces. Work with Restful or GraphQL APIs to fetch and display data in web applications. Utilize Figma and graphic design software to collaborate with the design team and implement designs accurately. Apply Material Design principles to create visually appealing and consistent user interfaces. Develop responsive designs that adapt to various screen sizes and devices. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications to ensure a smooth user experience. Ensure the security of web applications by following best practices and implementing necessary security measures. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in English and Italian. Additional Skills (Appreciated):Familiarity with server environments and backend technologies. Experience with configuration management systems and version control, particularly Git. Knowledge of Agile development practices and working in an Agile environment. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Proficiency in package managers such as npm and yarn for managing dependencies. Basic understanding of graphic design software to collaborate effectively with designers. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript. Experience with at least one modern frontend framework like Angular, React, or Vue. js. Familiarity with Restful or GraphQL APIs. Solid understanding of web standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques. Experience with Figma or other design collaboration tools. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
