Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a Welding Engineer to join Koch Glitsch in Aprilia (Italy).

What You Will Do Oversee all welding, NDT, and quality control related activities for the KES Aprilia factory.

Manage welding procedures and supervise the welding team, including providing consulting services.

Coordinate multiple projects and oversee the welding procedure.

Review quality specifications and prepare Inspection Test Plans and all related project quality documents.

Work closely with the engineering and production department to ensure product compliance with the customer's purchase order.

Develop & manage welding procedures & processes (WPS/PQR) including all associated laboratory destructive testing.

Define & prepare welding books for each project & product.

Develop & manage NDT procedures & processes.

Responsible for all quality aspects of assigned projects, determining and defining quality requirements, and maintaining and completing project records.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) International Certification in Welding (lWT, IWE, CWSIP, AWS, CWI, etc. ).

Extensive experience in Welding and/or Quality departments.

Knowledge of international Codes such as ASME, GB, AWS, ISO, etc.

Knowledge of NDT.

Knowledge of ISO quality management systems.

Courage to lead and take ownership.

Effective communication skills and relationship management.

Fluent in English and Italian.

Strong decision-making and analytical capability.

What Will Put You Ahead Certification auditor of management systems (ISO 19011).

Experience in fabrication, welding, and control for steel structures, sheet metal, and pipes.
