We are looking for a Welding Inspector for our sites in Italy. The ideal candidate must be fully conversant with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, arc, laser and butt with metals, including steel and aluminum for use on tubes, non-tubular bars, plates and tanks.

Successful applicants need to be able to work with project quality engineers and follow blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities & Duties:Elaborating and coordinating the welding specifications, and codes/standardsCoordination with the field subcontractors for all welding procedure specifications and procedures qualifications reportsReview course and effects of welding defects and take remedial actionsReview of the radiographic film and all NDT reports on a daily basisAuditing of the approved Third Party NDT Inspection CompanyWitnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testingReviewing the inspection and testing methods and procedures for Radiographic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, and Ultrasonic inspections;Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testingComplies with the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of incidents and or accidentsRequirements:Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent combination technical training (Certifications: AWS, CSWIP, HND, HNC or NVQ)and related experienceExtensive familiarity with welding works with at least 5 years of experience as Welding Inspector. 3/5 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry, Onshore power plant experience (it's a plus)Place of work: sites in ItalyThis position is open to candidates of all genders, in full compliance with Legislative Decree No.
