The Wellness Manager will provide a serene atmosphere for guests and team members alike, this role has oversight of the entire Spa operation and partners with the operations team to create unique and dynamic experiences for our guests.
- Maintain consistent guest satisfaction through collating guest feedback received from hotel surveys and communicate this with the team, implementing changes or training where necessary
- Knowledge of all aspects of the treatments and the ability to recommend and suggestive selling
- Process spa reservations, billing and meet and greet all guests as they arrive and depart from their treatments
- Support all aspects of retail guest assistance, product display, product inventory, suggestive selling, inventory, and merchandising
- Set and maintain standards in the areas including uniforms, grooming, music, TV stations, magazines, food & beverage, cleanliness and guest relations
- Handle guest complaints or problems immediately, ensuring guest satisfaction. Communicate all of the above to management to ensure communication to all necessary departments
- Provide daily and monthly financial and statistical reports for the Hotel General Manager and Auberge, incorporating justifications of performance, proposals and recommendations to optimize financial performance
- Liaise with the hotel Sales and Marketing Director to understand the spa's annual marketing plan. Coordinate all promotional activities, PR and events in line with this
- Aim to achieve consistently high scores in spa audits, resolving any highlighted issues through training or reviewing operational procedures
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training of the team
**Qualifications
- 2+ years of spa leadership experience within a luxury hotel or resort
- Provide a cultural rich & positive environment for the wellness team and lead by example
- Extremely customer service driven with the ability to provide the ultimate experience for guests
- Experience with developing financial budgets for a spa
- Ability to monitor and drive the spa performance through set KPI's
- Experience in a luxury hospitality environment
- Open to working shifts throughout the week and weekend
- Bi-lingual; Italian & English
