What you will be doing
The Western Europe Marketing Lead role is central to our expansion and to our go-to-market efforts in Europe.
Your mission is to align Satispay goals with Western Europe business needs and translate those into a consistent, effective and scalable marketing plan.
A key part of your role will be to champion local country business priorities and ensure they are reflected in our Central marketing team plans, toolkits and deliverables.
You will lead a powerful team of country marketers and will be involved in both the strategy and execution of Marketing Strategy.
You will:
Evolve, optimize and implement the marketing strategy for Western Europe, delivering against key KPIs and objectives, while ensuring the WE Marketing team's goals and priorities ladder up to global priorities
Localize the marketing roadmap in countries with an obsession on planification and scalability; lead resource planning and allocation for the local team, budget ownership, reporting;
Ensure playbooks are implemented and reporting are delivered; support high standard execution, share the best practices to the Central marketing team and to other countries of your region
Work closely with the Italy Marketing Lead and the Central Marketing leaders to define the marketing strategy for Satispay; represent local needs, market insights & knowledge within the wider Marketing team.
Make sure that within the central content the Western Europe needs are reflected
Act as Marketing business partner to the Western European Business developers and coach your team to become strong business partners to their commercial counterparts
Masterfully communicate up/down/across the organization to ensure transparency, alignment, and advocacy of business marketing strategies and plans
Mentor and develop your team of Country Marketing Managers supporting them with navigating a matrix environment while breeding a high standard of strategic, creative and executional excellence through coaching and capacity-building
What we need:
10+ years of marketing experience, working on multi-countries scope
5+ years of direct people management experience
Leadership experience with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Data-driven marketer with deep understanding of digital marketing (paid and social media), media, CRM, trade
Proven experience of successfully working in a matrix organization, leveraging strong executive presence to influence and achieve goals
Able to prioritize and make decisions under resource constraints in a changing environment, anticipating future needs
Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
Strong experience of driving operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes
Excellent effective communication and presentation skills.
English fluency is mandatory.
Italian, French, German are considered a plus
Travel required monthly
