JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate in charge of this role will be responsible for the Trade Marketing Budget allocation and monitoring for the Americas and APAC markets, for frames and lenses brands.
In addition, planning and executing main global and regional Trade Marketing projects, in respect of the Trade Marketing investment guidelines, ROI and cost efficiencies, will be key activities of the role.
This will entail an excellent knowledge of the distribution channel logics in the Regions in scope (e. g.
optical, sport, AFA, distributors, audiological, consumer electronic goods) and a setting of the project profitability approach based on sell-out and sell-in data analysis.
A cross-regions task of this role is to innovate, develop, promote, and monitor store digitalization within the Professional Solutions Channel.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES: To develop and apply an analytical and data-driven approach to the EL business with the purpose of providing strategic guidelines for the main Trade Marketing projects and budget allocation to maximize Trade Marketing Investments.
To define and manage a yearly Capex Budget for America and APAC markets.
To manage quarterly Trade Marketing Reviews and Trade Marketing Expenses approvals with the CEO.
To lead the Digital Windows project for the Professional Solutions Channel.
To lead a new way of working based on Lenses Brands integration within the global Trade Marketing perimeter.
To be the main point of contact for the new Essilor Luxottica integrated projects for North America, supporting local commercial teams with trade marketing activities development, patient journey setup and digital integration (Smart shopper implementation, Digital Windows…) To support markets in new product and category launches in-store, like RB Super Nova, Nuance Audio, new licenses such as Brunello Cucinelli, Swarovski, Ferrari, Jimmy Choo, and so on, ensuring on-time execution and in line with the Trade Marketing Strategy.
To monitor project progress against deliverables/milestones, issue status reports, and escalate breakdowns and issues as necessary.
To understand deeply markets, different channels of trade to bring their needs to the In Store Experience Team with the aim to ensure suitable execution in line with market peculiarity and corporate guidelines.
To lead internal and market Teams, supporting professional and personal growth and Team integration.
To provide a vision to the Team and lead by example.
NETWORK OF INTERACTION: INTERNAL: Corporate Teams; Brand and Business Brand Team, POP Supply Chain, Procurement, Digital Innovation, WHS Digital Marketing, IT Team, Nextore.
Local Market Teams; Trade Marketing Teams, Marketing Directors or Marketing Managers, Brand Management, General Managers.
EXTERNAL: Network of suppliers, digitally driven agencies.
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE Trade Marketing and/or Marketing experience with a strong analytical background; knowledge of dynamics in a multinational company managing different product categories.
Project Management: highly organized at work, experience in managing multiple projects within a matrixed organization, highly oriented to results, creative problem solving, and ability to work under strict timelines.
Communication: good experience in project presentations and interpersonal relationships, excellence in working in a team; English proficiency is fundamental.
