Job Description Within the Chief Technology Officer Italy we are looking for a talented and proactive resource to join the team. Key responsibilities of the role will include:Manage and evolve infrastructures based on Windows/Citrix/Linux systems architectures according to the approved projects and the yearly maintenance plan Analyze and troubleshoot issues and problems in case of service outage to solve or prevent them Proactively act and plan for service level improvement and keep the internal technical knowledge at the best level possible leveraging internal training opportunities Understand and apply Company's procedures and standards using the approved tools and processes Interact with business referrals/employees, when required, to better address issues resolution and understand their needs in order to improve the offered service Requirements Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:Possession of diploma or a degree in information technology; solid educational background in technical or IT-related fields Previous work experience in an IT company and managing Enterprise environments Good knowledge of the Windows Server landscape, Active Directory, and associated services (DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, etc. )

Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Basic knowledge of the Linux platform Average knowledge of the Citrix XenDesktop and XenServer platforms: Familiarity with Citrix technologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and documentation/reporting skills Good knowledge of programming and administration languages (PowerShell, other scripting/automation languages) Nice to have:Attitude to work in team and cooperate with other technical areas Other IT-related knowledge and willingness to learn Project-oriented mindset with prioritization skills and understanding of process-driven work Desire to learn and embrace new technologies in alignment with Generali Group's principles and philosophy Intuition and creativity in technical and organizational matters: ability to think creatively and solve technical and organizational challenges Company Profile Generali is a major player in the global insurance industry - a strategic and highly important sector for the growth, development and welfare of modern societies.
